Here are some tips to remember before, during and after the exchange. Follow these guidelines and the exchange will be an unforgettable experience.

Make sure the person you're exchanging. Get the information to themselves and looking for a family that reflects your desires and needs.
Patti make good friends! Be sure to clarify exactly what your future guests can and can not do at home.
The order and cleanliness are always the best welcome. When you leave the house, from a clean try to leave it as you found it. If you have lost or damaged something, be honest and courteous, and report it to the owner.
It would be nice to call their partners when it comes to their house, informing them that all is well. Courtesy never hurts. Avoid, however, to be harassing, or giving the impression to your guests that they are controlling, perhaps calling too much trust in them as they you.
It would be useful indications to leave your home and a welcome message for your guests to feel at home and make sure they know how to behave.
You may leave something for them at home as a small local tour guide or a map, or suggestions on where to go and what to do.
Be honest, kind and polite. Behaved at home as you conduct at home and respect their property.
